Wildlife facts, photos, and film clips of cheetahs, lemurs, seals, sea lions, owls, vultures, ducks, frogs, snakes, tortoises, giraffes, squirrels, otters, and other wild animals.

I wanted to share some of the information I gathered during production from my research and interviews with the animal experts/keepers of Coyote Point Museum, Safari West, Lindsay Wildlife Museum, and The Marine Mammal Center. The clips are raw footage from my feature documentary, ANIMAL CRACKERS.

The clips on this page require the QuickTime player which can be downloaded for free from the Apple website.

Although it might be tempting to kiss a toad and hope it will turn into a prince, you would get very sick. Toad secrete a toxic film to ward off predators. Toads also lead a swinging life as they are able to switch genders during mass mating rituals similar to an orgy.

You may notice the license plate on the back of the California desert tortoise featured in the clip to the right; this is not to help the CHP pull the reptile over for speeding, but to detour potential poachers who might want the shell.

Are you afraid of snakes? Well, you and I have nothing to fear from a king snake. Although they do prey on some other snakes, they are not poisonous to humans.

Watch some short videos about these animals and more in our Screening Room!
